i just married a u.s citizen....,i really dont have any idea of imigration rule,,,we just went to court an married,,,,so shold i file for g.c now or wait for a year ...plese if any one has gone through this ,,,suggest me.

Enjoy the family life, Congratulation for the short cut for GC ( just for laugh). You should tell us what is your visa status? Hope you have never been illegal and now you have to change of you visa status which will lead to GC. I hope so.

Congratulations! it doesn't matter if you are illegal or not by the way...as long as your wife is petitioning you for permanent residency. File for GC as soon as possible as i have heard from lot of folks that the immigration rule might change and what not. I mean there is no point in waiting. hopefully this is a legit marriage.
