dear sjhaites,

after hearing/ reading a lot of arguments about king vs. democracy i have decided to be on the royalists side to see from their perspective just in case if i'm not seeing what the royalists are seeing:

1. king is the unifying entity of Nepal without him nepal will have no identity, in other words India will take over just like sikkim.

2. King is king. they were the ones (royals) that have the credit of bringing nepal into existence.

3. political leaders are all corrupt. so king is better than them. and about the kind of money he makes he deserves it because he is king, hello!

4. because of maoist insurgency king and his RNA are the only hope for a secure and peaceful nepal.

5. nepali people are mostly uneducated (large rural population) so even if we have a democratic system they will not be able to make the right decision.


please all refute or support the above arguments.

Well no body has yet said anything about who is going to run the nepal?????????
